Come Join Us

The Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education for children.

The General Smallwood Chapter was founded on November 6, 1907, and named in honor of General William Smallwood (1732-1792). The chapter meets on the third Saturday of the months of September, November, January, March, and May. A summer social, as well as, multi-chapter meetings and events are, also, held throughout the year. Please contact us for further information on the many ways we support historic preservation, patriotism, and education.
